And of course, I have to agree with Facebook to a large extent on this one.  If it works, use it!  That's effectively the state of web development anyway -- browser vendors support what they want, HOW they want despite the standards.  And while some of the problem may be due to browser prematurely implementing pending standards, it's already happening with HTML5.  It makes little difference *now* whether developers start utilizing the prematurely implemented features.

Mozilla can't go back and un-implement HTML5 features from previous version of FF -- they're already out there!
